Rohaan Madesh, a 16-year-old student of Grade 11 from Canadian International School (CIS), has earned a slew of accolades in the sphere of motorsport. This young racing enthusiast has marked a significant milestone by becoming the first Indian to be chosen for the inaugural season of the F4 Championship, held in Chennai.
His rigorous training with the MRF2000 cars series has yielded multiple podium finishes, demonstrating his readiness for his debut at the Sri Perambalur, Madras Motor Race Track (MMRT) in India's first-ever F4 season.

Rohaan’s journey in the motorsport world has been nothing short of extraordinary, consistently raising the bar with an impressive collection of achievements. His driving prowess is unmatched, as evident from his outstanding performance in various prestigious competitions, both domestic and international.
In 2023, Rohaan claimed the title of Senior Rotax Max Champion, following which he represented India at the World Finals in Portugal. His exceptional speed saw him qualifying as the second-fastest among 76 drivers from across the globe.
The previous year, he clinched the championship in the Meridus Cup and participated in the Rotax International Dubai Oplate. In 2021, Rohaan secured the title in the X30 National Championship and finished as the second runner-up in the Rotax National Championship.
Rohaan's past achievements also include representing India at the Rotax World Finals in France in 2019 and 2020, and at the X30 World Finals, in France in 2018. His spectacular record for the year ended with an impressive count of 4 wins and 10 podium finishes. His racing journey started in 2017 with a podium finish in the Asia Max Championship, Malaysia, and the title of National Rookie Champion (Mini).
Reflecting on his journey, Rohaan acknowledges that racing has been instrumental in developing his focus and consistency. By understanding data and the mechanics of the car, he has been able to enhance his performance.
He recognizes the importance of physical fitness in racing and undertakes daily exercise and strength training. With steadfast support from his family and academic assistance from his peers at school, Rohaan has been able to channel his energy into his passion. For him, racing is more than just a sport; it is a lesson in precision, calculation, planning, and execution.
Rohaan’s fascination with racing started when he was just seven years old. Inspired by F1 racing and European Karting, he began his journey with a Bangalore-based team. Subsequently, he underwent training in Malaysia to prepare himself for international racing. After eight years in Karting, Rohaan has made the transition to car racing this year with the Formula 4 cars.
