Ashi Chouksey Sets New National Record in 50M Rifle 3 Positions at 38th National Games

Madhya Pradesh's Ashi Chouksey made a remarkable mark at the 38th National Games, held at the Trishool Shooting Range, MPSC, by setting a new national record in the 50M Rifle 3 Positions Women event.

Chouksey scored an outstanding 598, breaking the previous national record of 594 set by Sift Kaur Samra during the 2023 ISSF National Championship (India).

Reflecting on her achievement, Chouksey shared her heartfelt gratitude: "I think I worked very hard for this, and I believe the credit goes to everyone who has supported me including my coach, sponsors, family, and friends. Each one of them has played a role in my victory today. This is a moment of pride for me, especially because there was no one from my sport before, and here I am, achieving this milestone."

Her flawless performance across the kneeling, prone, and standing positions showcased not only her skill but also her unwavering focus and consistency. This accomplishment further cements her status as one of India's premier rifle shooters.
