Performance Highlights

Pranavi Urs and Avani Prashanth also made the cut, both finishing at 3-under for 36 holes, tying for 19th place. Pranavi started strong with a birdie on the first hole and added more on the 14th, 16th, and 17th. However, she dropped a shot on the seventh, concluding her round with a 68.

Avani, who has previously won titles on the Hero Women’s Pro Golf Tour and LETAS as an amateur, began her round with consecutive birdies. She continued her momentum with additional birdies on the ninth, 10th, 13th, 15th, and 16th holes but ended with a bogey. Earlier in her round, she dropped shots on the fourth and fifth holes, finishing with a score of 67.

Leaders' Achievements

Mimi Rhodes achieved a remarkable feat by carding ten birdies for a course-record 62. Her round included an impressive birdie at the par-3 eighth hole after waiting over an hour due to a thunderstorm delay. Meanwhile, Sara Kouskova matched this achievement with a flawless bogey-free round of 63.

Kouskova faced similar weather disruptions while putting for eagle on the 13th hole. After resuming play, she successfully converted the eagle and added six more birdies for an impeccable performance. Kirsten Rudgeley stands alone in third place at nine-under par after rounds of 65 and 68.

Other Competitors

Blanca Fernandez from Spain and Moa Folke from Sweden are tied for fourth place at eight-under par. The second round remains incomplete as darkness halted play in New South Wales, leaving ten players yet to finish their rounds.

Diksha began her day with a birdie on the first hole but encountered challenges with bogeys on the fifth and ninth holes. She compensated with birdies on the seventh, 13th, 17th, and 18th holes to secure her score of 68 without any bogeys on the back nine.

The tournament continues to showcase exceptional talent as players navigate challenging conditions and strive for top positions in this competitive event.
