The Dubai T100 Triathlon Weekend is set to return from November 13-16, 2025. The Dubai Sports Council (DSC) has announced that this second edition will be more expansive than before. The event will again collaborate with the Professional Triathletes Organisation (PTO), promising an exciting experience for participants and spectators alike.
General registration is now open for amateur athletes eager to compete in the 100km race, which includes a 2km swim, an 80km bike ride, and an 18km run. There is also a Sprint distance option featuring a 750m swim, a 20km bike ride, and a 5km run. Interested individuals can register at the official website.

Ahmed Al Khaja, CEO of Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), highlighted the strategic importance of the triathlon. He stated that it aligns with the goals of Dubai's Economic Agenda D33. This agenda aims to establish Dubai as a leading global destination for both business and leisure activities.
"Our continued commitment to developing sports tourism through world-class events like the Dubai T100 Triathlon aligns with the goals of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33," said Al Khaja. "After the remarkable success of the 2024 debut, we are confident that the 2025 edition will attract global attention."
Eisa Sharif, Director of Sports Events at DSC, shared plans to elevate the event in its upcoming edition. He noted that nearly 10,000 amateur athletes participated in various races during the inaugural event in 2024. This included untimed events like the 5km Music Run, which encouraged participation from people of all ages and abilities.
"We were delighted to host the T100 Triathlon World Tour in Dubai for the first time last November," Sharif said. "For 2025, we are working closely with PTO to expand all three race categories." New additions include a Schools Event and a Corporate Relay to boost community engagement.
The T100 Triathlon World Tour has already made stops in Singapore, San Francisco, and Vancouver this year. Swiss Olympic star Julie Derron currently leads the women's rankings for the T100 Race To Qatar. Belgium's Marten Van Riel tops the men's rankings after his victory as T100 World Champion in 2024.
Sam Renouf, CEO of PTO, expressed excitement about building on last year's success: "The 2024 Dubai T100 Triathlon was a huge success," he said. "We're thrilled to be building on that momentum by creating more opportunities for amateur athletes—and now corporate teams—to participate."
The event not only showcases top-tier athletic talent but also emphasizes community involvement and healthy living. With its strategic partnerships and expanded offerings, it continues to position Dubai as a premier hub for international sporting events.
