Unknown gunmen opened fire at the house of Pakistan's fast bowler Naseem Shah in Mayar, Lower Dir area at the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa district.
The attack caused damage to the main gate, windows, and a parked vehicle. Five suspects have been arrested by police following the incident, and the local Mayar Police Station has registered a case. Authorities are actively investigating to determine the motive behind the attack.

Naseem Shah, aged 22, is recognized as one of Pakistan's most promising fast bowlers. He made his international debut in 2019 and quickly established himself as a key player in Pakistan's pace attack. The police response was prompt, though the assailants initially fled the scene.
