The tensions between India and Pakistan have momentarily diluted with the ceasefire. Although Pakistan, as their nature is, broke the arrangement again, things have stayed peaceful across the border since Sunday (May 11) morning.
The Indian defence personnel gave a detailed review of the destruction the military caused to Pakistan's various airbases and defence systems across the other side of the border. Although Pakistan has continued to bark on their ludicrous claims, the proof has scarcely materialised their claims.

India has been rampant, precise and devastating in destroying the terrorist shelters, killing more than 100 terrorists across Pakistan. The assault also resulted in the death of more than 40 Pakistan army personnel.
Amid the de-escalation of the India-Pakistan border conflicts, the Indian DGMO Lieutenant General Rajiv Ghai gave a cold and firm reply to Pakistan and cited a cricket reference. The respected army personnel also took a moment to thank Virat Kohli, who retired from Test cricket and mentioned the India batter as his favourite.
"Targetting our airfields and logistics is way too tough... I saw that Virat Kohli has just retired from test cricket; he is one of my favourites. In the 1970s, during the Ashes between Australia and England, two Australian bowlers destroyed the batting lineup of England, and then Australia gave a proverb - "Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, if Thommo don't get ya, Lillee must". If you see the layers, you'll understand what I am trying to say. Even if you crossed all the layers, one of the layers of this grid system will hit you," General Ghai said at the press conference on Monday.
It was a clear message to Pakistan on escalating, provoking India for retaliation. The neighbour country cowardly targeted civilians across the Line of Control and then got befitting reply from the Indian army. After getting destroyed by the Indian multifaceted offence, they were left without any choice but dial up for a ceasefire. But given Pakistan's history and nature, an attack in future can't be ruled out, but any act will be perceived as an 'Act of War' from India.
In terms of cricket, Kohli decided to call quits on his red-ball journey after an underwhelming series in Australia. Incidentally, India captain Rohit Sharma also announced Test retirement last week, which has now created a big void in Indian cricket ahead of their England Tour next month.
