IPL 2026: KKR unveil stunning Mural in Kolkata ahead of Punjab Kings Match, engraves 'First Love' - Watch
Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) is strengthening its legendary bond with the city through a stunning new mural on Rash Behari Avenue, one of South Kolkata's most bustling thoroughfares, now alive with the passion of cricket fandom.
Drawing from the heartfelt "Prothom Bhalobasha KKR" campaign, which celebrates KKR as fans' "first love", the artwork weaves together the team's essence, star players, and the roar of its loyal supporters into a captivating visual story.

Adorned in KKR's iconic purple and gold hues, it showcases dynamic, stylized portraits of players paired with the timeless mantra "Korbo, Lorbo, Jeetbo," embodying the relentless grit shared by the team and Kolkata alike.
Dominating the center is the evocative Bengali inscription "প্রথম ভালোবাসা KKR" (Prothom Bhalobasha KKR), translating to "KKR is the first love," which infuses the piece with raw emotion and underscores the campaign's message of unbreakable devotion.
Merging modern street-art vibes with Kolkata's cultural heartbeat, this isn't merely art-it's a bold tribute to pride, fervour, and unity in fandom.
Positioned prominently on Rash Behari Avenue, the mural beckons fans and locals to stop, snap photos, and connect, evolving an everyday street into an enduring symbol of KKR spirit. Head there, soak it in, and share your story to fuel the Knights' army.
The Knight Riders have made a disappointing start on the pitch though. The season hasn't gone ideally so far for them. After a barrage of injuries and issues, KKR have succumbed to defeats in their first two matches this season. They will be up against Punjab Kings in their third match of the season on Monday at the Eden Gardens.
