Khelo India Youth Games 2025: The Kho Kho events at the Khelo India Youth Games 2025 wrapped up with thrilling finales at the Bihar Institute of Public Administration & Rural Development (BIPARD) Ground in Bodhgaya.
With high-octane performances and fierce competition, Maharashtra and Odisha proved to be the dominant forces in both boys' and girls' divisions.

In the Girls' Final, Odisha narrowly edged past Maharashtra with a gripping 34-31 victory. The team's speed, synchrony, and strategic play helped them lift the winner's trophy in a closely contested match. Meanwhile, the Boys' Final saw Maharashtra assert their dominance, defeating Odisha convincingly with a 34-25 scoreline to clinch the title.
The Kho Kho Federation of India expressed appreciation to all participating teams for their exemplary sportsmanship and spirited play throughout the tournament.
"We take pride in young sportsmen and women who gave outstanding performances and showcased the real spirit of Kho Kho. The tournament has taken another leap forward in taking Kho Kho's stature to the national platform and beyond," Sudhanshu Mittal, President, Kho Kho Federation of India & International Kho Kho Federation said.
This year's event not only celebrated regional talent but also highlighted the growing enthusiasm for Kho Kho among India's youth. As the game continues to gain momentum nationwide, its traditional roots and fast-paced appeal are drawing attention from new audiences and future athletes alike.
