Chelsea footballer Raheem Sterling recently faced a terrifying break-in at his Berkshire home in London, where masked burglars attempted to enter while his family was inside.
Sterling courageously confronted the intruders armed with a knife to protect his family. Fortunately, no one was harmed in the incident, but the police are investigating the case.

The England international was preparing to watch the Chelsea vs Wolves match last Saturday, when he was notified about burglars entering his home in Berkshire.
The former Arsenal player used his presence of mind to secure his wife Paige Milian and two children, and then confronted the burglars and forced them to escape without any loot.
"He grabbed a knife out of a block in the kitchen and went to confront the intruders. It was acting on pure adrenaline but it worked," a source was quoted as saying by the Mirror.
"There was a group of them upstairs in masks and they were obviously looking around for any valuables yet again. But this time they made off when they realised that Raheem was at home and he confronted them," it added.
This was Sterling's second home burglary, the first having occurred in 2022, which had even led him to withdraw temporarily from the England World Cup squad to handle the situation.
Regarding his career situation at Chelsea in 2025, Sterling is currently out of favour and excluded from the main team squad. After returning from a loan spell at Arsenal, where he struggled to secure playing time and performance impact, he found himself separated from Chelsea's first team, training away from the main squad at the Cobham training facility.
Chelsea haven't included him in the official squad listings under head coach Enzo Maresca. There is ongoing speculation about possible moves in the upcoming transfer window or even a contract settlement, but Sterling is hesitant to compromise on his substantial wages, which run until 2027.
