The world of sports saw some new stories develop on Friday (November 8) as India made it’s decision on whether to travel to Pakistan for ICC Champions Trophy, while Neeraj Chopra’s next course of action was revealed and Pakistan secured a historic win.
Also, there were mixed performances for India A in the 2nd unofficial Test against Australia A in Melbourne. Plus, Premier League clubs win after disappointing week in Europe, and a West Indies fast bowler was suspended for his actions in ODI against England. Here are some of the biggest developments in the World of Sports today.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has formally communicated to Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) that India will not travel to Pakistan for the next year’s Champions Trophy, as per a report. The BCCI wants the India’s matches to be held at a neutral venue, preferably in Dubai.
After a disappointing first innings performance, KL Rahul and Abhimanyu Easwaran once again failed to make most of their opportunity in the audition for an opening slot with Rohit Sharma expected to miss the Perth Test.
Easwaran, who made a 3-ball duck in the first innings of the second unofficial Test between India A and Australia A at the MCG, only managed to score 17 before falling to Nathan McAndrew. Coming in on the back of a 4, Rahul scored 10 before being bizarrely clean bowled by spinner Corey Rocchiccioli.
After questions were raised over his selection for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, Karnataka pacer Prasidh Krishna may have answered those critics with an impressive performance with the ball in MCG. Prasidh finished with figures of 4 for 50 as India A bowled out Australia A for 223.
Pacer Haris Rauf's breathtaking spell of 5 for 29 and opening batter Saim Ayub's quickfire innings of 82 from 71 balls propelled Pakistan to a crushing nine-wicket victory against Australia in the second ODI match to level the series at Adelaide Oval on Friday. This win also marked Pakistan’s first ODI win over Australia in Adelaide since 1996.
Star javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra will travel to Potchefstroom, South Africa later this month for an off-season training stint to start early preparation for next year's competitions. The 26-year-old double Olympic medallist, who last competed in Brussels in the Diamond League Final in September, will spend 31 days in the South African city.
As Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma prepare for one of their career’s defining challenges in Australia in the upcoming Test series, former India head coach Greg Chappell believes the stalwart duo can "rekindle" the energy and focus of their youth to rediscover their lost glory.
According to the former Australian cricketer Chappell, the ageing Sharma and Kohli must summon the same drive and focus that once marked their prime years if India hopes to reclaim its form on foreign soil.
Alzarri Joseph has been suspended for two matches by Cricket West Indies over his very public disagreement with captain Shai Hope over field placements during a one-day international against England.
While West Indies was bowling during the match Wednesday which the Caribbean side won by eight wickets to clinch the three-match series, Joseph left the field in a remarkable protest over the field set by Hope during one of the fast bowler's overs.
Premier League sides Manchester United and Chelsea won their respective European ties after a disappointing week for the English clubs in UEFA Champions League. Man United edged past PAOK in Europa League, while Chelsea hammered Noah 8-0 in Europa Conference League. 10—man Spurs, however, lost a thrilling Europa League clash against Galatasaray 2-3.
