Tennis Player Radhika Yadav shot dead by Father

Radhika Yadav, a 25‑year‑old national‑level tennis player and academy founder from Gurugram, was fatally shot by her father, Deepak Yadav, on July 10, 2025, inside their home. Using his licensed .32‑caliber revolver, he fired five rounds-three to her back/chest-after villagers taunted him for depending on her income. The motive stemmed from a long‑standing dispute over her academy. He has been arrested and is in police remand.
