6. Seven England football players withdraw from the National Team squad

Seven England footballers have withdrawn from the England squad ahead of their UEFA Nations League matches in November. Trent Alexander-Arnold, Cole Palmer, Phil Foden, Jack Grealish, Bukayo Saka, Declan Rice, Aaron Ramsdale and Levi Colwill decided to drop out from the Three Lions squad, which has bemused the England skipper Harry Kane.

7. Shikhar Dhawan set to play in Nepal Premier League

Shikhar Dhawan is set to play in the inaugural Nepal Premier League. The former India batter will be representing Karnali Yaks in the first season of the tournament, which is scheduled to start from November 30. 8. ICC video seems to confirm Pakistan as Champions Trophy host

Amid the India-Pakistan tug of war for the Champions Trophy venue, an ICC video seems to have confirmed Pakistan as the host for the upcoming competition. India has cleared that they won't travel to Pakistan, while the original hosts Pakistan has decided to reject the hybrid offer. 9. Goa batters register highest-ever Ranji partnership

Goa batters Kashyap Bakle (300*) & Snehal Kauthankar (314*) have registered the highest-ever partnership in the Ranji Trophy history. The duo put up 606 runs for 3rd wicket in the Plate match against Arunachal Pradesh, thus breaking the previous record of 594 runs set up by Maharashtra's Swapnil Gugale and Ankit Bawne in 2016.
