With no conventional athletes' village planned, SAI has installed makeshift container rooms at its centres in Patiala and Bengaluru, allowing athletes to spend nights in the compact surroundings they may encounter in Japan. The exercise is intended to remove uncertainty and prevent unfamiliar accommodation from becoming a psychological distraction during competition.
