Trombone Shorty, a celebrated New Orleans musician, will join Grammy-winning singer Lauren Daigle to perform “America the Beautiful.” Trombone Shorty, with his unique mix of funk, soul, and rock, and Daigle, known for her powerful vocal talent, will bring a special energy to the pregame show.
Grammy-winning artist Ledisi will perform “Lift Every Voice and Sing.” It is a song often referred to as the Black national anthem. With 15 Grammy nominations and a career marked by her dynamic voice, Ledisi’s performance will highlight the emotional power of the song.
The highly anticipated Super Bowl LIX halftime show will be headlined by Kendrick Lamar, the Pulitzer Prize-winning rapper known for his intense performances and chart-topping hits. Joining him will be R&B sensation SZA, making the halftime show even more exciting. Fans can expect an unforgettable performance from this powerhouse duo.
In an effort to make the event more inclusive for the Deaf community, American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters will be part of the pregame and halftime shows. Stephanie Nogueras will interpret the national anthem and “America the Beautiful,” while Otis Jones IV will sign “Lift Every Voice and Sing.” Matt Maxey will provide ASL for the halftime show.
