Even in front of thousands of people, a person in Ahmedabad had the brass audacity to touch a female journalist inappropriately. After the match, the incident was caught Live, and the reporter shared the sickening moment through her social media.

Journalist touched Inappropriately after T20 World Cup Final

Gargi Raut, an Indian sports journalist with RevSportz Global, shared a video from outside Ahmedabad's cricket stadium after India's 96-run win over New Zealand, capturing a fan inappropriately touching her while she reported live.

In the clip, Raut could be seen speaking and then a perverted human being, whose face could be seen, touched her wrongly. The journalist was stunned and left speechless. Ahmedabad Police to emphasise that reporters deserve safe working conditions without harassment.

In a country such as India, where women's safety is often questioned, the incident has further epitomized the lack of security even in public places. Ahmedabad Police has yet to respond to the incident, but a probe to find the culprit is expected.

Ahmedabad, a city which is set to host the Commonwealth Games and maybe Olympics later, will have to eradicate such serious issues to conduct the international events down the line. India have witnessed sexual harassment of women in various degrees in recent times, and the lack of strict punishment for these perpetrators is central to these growing crimes.
