Bengaluru, April 23: The 17th edition of the TCS World 10K Bengaluru, scheduled for Sunday (April 27) promises to be a landmark event on India's sporting calendar.

Organised by Procam International, the World Athletics Gold Label Race will bring together elite athletes and fitness enthusiasts alike, with close to 35,000 runners taking to the streets of Bengaluru.

The event boasts a total prize purse of USD 210,000 and is set to deliver a seamlessly orchestrated experience backed by cutting-edge arrangements, top-tier medical support, sustainability measures, and world-class hospitality.

RACE DAY: VENUE AND TIMINGS

MEDICAL FACILITIES BY FORTIS HOSPITALS

Participants can rest easy knowing that comprehensive medical preparedness is a cornerstone of the event:

- 7 medical stations across the route and venue
- 30-bedded medical basecamp at Sam Manekshaw Parade Ground
- 10 ACLS ambulances and 2 mini ambulances at finish
- 10 medics on bikes and 2 golf carts for emergency response
- Total of 290+ medical staff including doctors, nurses, and physiotherapists
- Special medical stations for elite athletes, SCR, and CWD categories

ON-GROUND FACILITIES

Procam has deployed extensive on-ground services for an effortless race day:

- Hydration: 8 Bisleri water stations
- Energy: 3 FAST&UP energy drink stations, 2 Chikki & Salt stations
- Sanitation: 11 chemical toilets
