New York, Nov 18: Award-winning actress, producer, and advocate Whoopi Goldberg, in partnership with international streaming company JungoTV, have launched the All Women's Sports Network (AWSN), an exclusive network dedicated to women's sports.
Offering a 24/7 spotlight on women's achievements in sports like soccer, basketball, and more, AWSN will bring global women's sports content to India on the JioTV and JioTV+ platforms.

The AWSN lineup promises live broadcasts from top women's leagues, including the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA), the International Basketball Federation (FIBA), and the Women's National Basketball League (WNBL).
The move represents a groundbreaking expansion of women's sports content, ensuring that top-tier athleticism from female athletes receives dedicated exposure and recognition. Indian viewers with Jio SIMs will be able to watch AWSN via the JioTV mobile app, while JioTV+ users can stream it on connected TVs through Jio AirFiber.
Goldberg, a lifelong advocate for women's rights and visibility, described her inspiration behind AWSN: "The world is finally recognising the incredible female athletes that have always been here but were not given the exposure they deserved. AWSN is a channel where girls and women can see themselves; a place where aspiration is transformed into performance, and competitiveness is celebrated. When she wins, we win."
Goldberg aims to redefine women's sports coverage as a constant presence, rather than an occasional feature, driving gender equity and representation in the sports media landscape.
AWSN's launch signifies a landmark collaboration between Whoopi Goldberg, JungoTV, and Jio, India's largest mobile network provider. Goldberg and JungoTV's leadership team-including CEO George Chung, COO Miguel Santos, Chief Content Officer Tony Parrish, and Chief Creative Officer Taylor Chung-have worked to establish AWSN as a dynamic and widely accessible platform.
With support from key stakeholders and industry partners, AWSN is set to deliver diverse sports coverage, regardless of a sport's commercial profile, honouring the network's commitment to inclusivity.
AWSN's presence on JioTV and JioTV+ is expected to open up more viewership for women's sports in India and beyond, giving millions of girls and women role models to aspire to. For JungoTV, this partnership reflects a commitment to expanding its international content reach and innovating in women's sports programming. AWSN, now available in 65 countries, reaches over 2 billion people worldwide, carrying the vision of transforming how women's sports are viewed, celebrated, and valued across the globe.
