In 2004, she began her journey in shooting Para sport in Giresun, Turkiye. Encouraged by friends, she entered her first competition and won gold. This victory convinced her to pursue the sport further. "I didn't know how to shoot properly at the time. I didn't even warm up, but I came first," she recalled.

She trains up to seven days a week ahead of competitions. "After resting for a while at home, I do a conditioning workout again. I also do my long walking exercises," she explained. She has been using training devices since 2002 to maintain her fitness levels.
In January 2023, she underwent a surgical procedure. Despite this setback, she continued her rigorous training regimen to prepare for upcoming competitions.
She became the first female shooting Para sport athlete representing Turkiye to win a gold medal at the world championships. She claimed the SH1 women's 10m air pistol title at the 2022 edition of the tournament in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates.
She received an acknowledgement at the 2023 Sporun Enleri [Best of the Sports], an awards ceremony organised by the Turkish Amateur Sports Clubs Confederation and the Ministry of Youth and Sports in Turkiye. In 2022, she was presented with the Sportsmanship Brotherhood Award at the Bogazici University Sports Awards.
Her mother has been a significant influence on her career. She believes that morale and motivation are key to success. "As long as I do my work with morale and motivation, success is a positive effect," she stated.
Looking ahead, she aims to win gold at the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris. This goal drives her daily training and preparation efforts as she continues to represent Turkiye on the international stage.
