He made his debut for Poland in 2011 at Cluj-Napoca, Romania. His career faced a setback in 2008 when he fell on stairs and broke his hand, sidelining him for six months.
Chojno has represented Poland in non-Para table tennis, including at the 2010 World Championships in Moscow. In 2019, he decided to end his involvement with the Polish national non-Para team due to ankle problems but continued playing in the Polish Superliga.
He has also served as a coach at the AZS AWFiS Gdansk club. His philosophy is simple: "Never give up, work hard but smart." His coach Michal Napierala guides him at Petralana TTS Polonia Bytom, while Andrzej Ochal coaches him at the national level.
Chojno was named Player of the Year for the 2018/19 season of the Polish Superliga. He received the Gold Cross of Merit from the president of Poland in 2013 and 2017.
Looking ahead, Chojno aims to compete at the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris. Inspired by US basketball player Michael Jordan and influenced by Coach Longin Wrobel, he continues to strive for excellence.
