Rick's first experience in Para athletics took place at the 2010 School Paralympics. This event marked the beginning of his athletic career. His introduction to the sport came through a school teacher who encouraged him to join a Para sports social project. This project was based in Dourados, Brazil.

Club and Coaching

Rick is currently affiliated with Servico Social da Industria Sao Paulo (SESI-SP) in Brazil. Under the guidance of his club coach, Daniel Biscola, he has honed his skills and achieved significant milestones. The support from his club has been instrumental in his development as an athlete.

Personal Life

Rick is not just an athlete but also a family man. He has one son, born in 2022. Despite his busy schedule, he finds time to support his favourite football team, Sao Paulo FC. His hobbies include following the team's progress and cheering them on during matches.

Ambitions

Looking ahead, Rick aims to compete at the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris. This goal reflects his dedication and commitment to excelling in Para athletics. His journey from a school project participant to a potential Paralympian is a testament to his hard work and perseverance.
