In a thrilling IPL 2024 opener, the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) emerged victorious, defeating the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) by six wickets. The match took place at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. After winning the toss, RCB chose to bat first and set a target of 173 runs. Anuj Rawat contributed 48 runs, Dinesh Karthik scored 38 runs, and Faf du Plessis added 35 runs. CSK’s Mustafizur Rahman took 4 wickets for 29 runs, while Deepak Chahar secured one wicket.
