The athlete began his sporting career at a very young age. Encouraged by his older sister, he took up the sport while still in kindergarten. This early start laid the foundation for his future success.

He currently represents New Taipei City in Chinese Taipei. His training is overseen by coach Wei Chun-Ta. Under Wei's guidance, he has honed his skills and improved his performance.

At the opening ceremony of the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris, he had the honour of being one of Chinese Taipei's flag bearers. He shared this prestigious role with athletics competitor Liu Ya-Ting.
