This allows immediate detection of any anomalies. Despite this condition, she continues to push hard in training sessions.
Alongside her athletic career, Su works as a medical specialist in physical medicine and rehabilitation in Vigo. She believes that both medicine and sport require perseverance and continuous improvement.
In 2021, Su co-founded the Delikia sports club in Vigo with Celso Comesana Pereira. The club focuses on inclusivity, and Su serves as its honorary president.
Looking ahead, Su aims to compete at the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris. She has decided to focus solely on triathlon for these Games as it brings her the most joy.
Outside of sports and medicine, Su enjoys travelling, spending time outdoors, and listening to music. Her personal philosophy is: "There is only one way to get things done and that is to not be afraid to fight."
In 2024, toy company Mattel launched a Barbie doll with Su's likeness as part of its Barbie Role Models campaign. Su expressed that having a Barbie doll modelled after her is an example of achieving childhood dreams through hard work.
