Kyrgios loses match and his patience again!

Kyrgios lost his cool, not for the first time in a career filled with controversies.

Bengaluru, August 31: Nick Kyrgios is no stranger to controversies. The bad boy of Australian tennis has quite often courted trouble for his tantrums - be it for smashing racquets, tanking a match or for hurling abuses at opponents.

The latest in the Kyrgios saga happened after his first-round defeat to compatriot John Millman at the US Open on Wednesday. During the match he was warned and fined for his usual antics and fans immediately took to Twitter.

During the match at Louis Armstrong Stadium in which he committed 60 unforced errors, the temperamental Aussie received medical treatment on court, and at one point even asked a ball boy to grab and stretch his arm.

As if it was not enough, in the post-match press conference the 22-year-old was asked whether his coaching relationship with Frenchman Sebastien Grosjean will continue following their original agreement to work through the US Open.

At this stage Kyrgios opened a pandora's box.

"I don't know, honestly," he said. "I'm not good enough for him. He's very dedicated. He's an unbelievable coach. He probably deserves a player that is probably more dedicated to the game than I am. He deserves a better athlete than me."

It did not end there. Although he said he was focussed on the US Open, Kyrgios said he had not always been dedicated, citing his behaviour at the Cincinnati Open, where he reached the final.

"I was probably less dedicated than I was this week. I was playing basketball at Lifetime Fitness every day for two hours. Like I played an hour of basketball before I played David Ferrer in the semifinal," he said.

"I was going to ice cream, like this Graeter's place getting a milk shake every day. I was less dedicated," added Kyrgios denting his already tarnished image further.
