Bakers Basket junior tennis tourney from Nov 7

Pune, Oct 15 (UNI) The seventh edition of the ''Baker's Basket'' junior open tennis tournament, being organised by the Sunny Jacob Tennis Academy, will be held at the Ladies Club courts here from November 7 to 15.

Tournament director Capt Sunny Jacob stated in a press release issued here today, that, the annual tournament has gained immense popularity and attracts aspiring boys and girls who want to make a mark in the game.

It is a non-ranking tournament for juniors with the aim to boost their skills and provide them the much-needed competition exposure, Capt Jacob said.

Baker's Basket general manager Rajendra Kelshikar said the tournament is being hosted for the seventh year with the sole purpose of encouraging young boys and girls between the ages of 10 to 16.

The tournament is being held for boys and girls under-10, under-12, under-14 and under-16.
