Perth, July 17: Wimbledon champion Marion Bartoli will team up with Jo-Wilfried Tsonga to play for France at the Hopman Cup here from Dec 29 to Jan 4.

Bartoli, who clinched her maiden Grand Slam title at Wimbledon on July 6, spoke highly of Tsonga, placed eighth in ATP rankings. Bartoli is ranked seven among the women.

The four-time Grand Slam semi-finalist Tsonga enjoyed playing in Perth in the last edition because it was quite similar to courts at the Australian Open, the first Grand Slam of the year.
