Bhupathi-Knowles given walkover in 2nd round of Rogers Masters

Toronto, Jul 24 (UNI) Mahesh Bhupathi and his Bahamian partner Mark Knowles entered the quarter-finals of the 2,615,000 dollar ATP Rogers Masters here after receiving a walk over in the second round.

The duo, who were due to play the American pair of Mardy Fish and Andy Roddick, were in for a stroke of luck as their opponents pulled out because of a knee injury to Fish.

The fourth seeded Indo-Bahamian duo had also received a bye in the first round.

They will now clash with the winner of the second round tie between Leander Paes and his Czech partner Lukas Dlouhy and the Swiss combination of Roger Federer and Stanislas Wawrinka.
