Cash believes Murray can be first Brit to win Wimbledon since Perry

By Super Admin

London, Apr.22 (ANI): Former Wimbledon champion Pat Cash believes Andy Murray can become the first Brit since Fred Perry to win Wimbledon.

Australian Cash, who won the men's title himself in 1987, admits he would be surprised if Murray fails to lift a Grand Slam at some point in the near future.

The Sun quoted Cash as saying: "I'd be surprised if he didn't win a Grand Slam, for sure. You never know with injuries but if it all goes to plan physically, I'd be surprised if he didn't do it in the next couple of years.

"It is a huge advantage at Wimbledon to have all of that crowd cheering for you - give me that any day over the crowd cheering against you!He is getting close already to a Grand Slam and Wimbledon will be an extra boost," he added. (ANI)
