'Worms in Food, See you never ever': Serbian Tennis player Dejana Radanovic faces backlash after controversial India post

A Serbian Tennis player named Dejana Radanovic has faced backlash after making controversial racist posts about India.

Dejana Radanovic, who spent two weeks in India for Tennis tournaments, bizarrely attacked Indian food, hygiene and the country as a whole.

She posted a series of Instagram messages criticizing India and made vile comments about various Indian things.

"Adios India. See you never ever ever ever EVER again," Radanovic wrote in an Instagram post.

After reaching Munich, she further stated, "Hello civilization. Only those who have experienced something like India for 3 weeks can understand the feeling."

"But I gotta admit that they are amazing drivers and traffic was interesting sometimes. You may never know how your day will look like, what is going to happen and everyone is honking all the time, like in traffic rush game.

Her vivid attack garnered a lot of backlash but Radanovic maintained her stance and said she didn't make any racial marks and she only criticized the country as a whole. After the pile of backlashes, she made further posts on her social media profile.

"Omg can't believe what things we need to talk about really. I didn't like India - the country. I didn't like the food, traffic, hygiene (worms in the food, yellow pillows and dirty bed linen in the hotel, not knowing how to use a roundabout etc.)," Radanovic wrote in her explanation.

The 27-year-old Tennis player played in three W50 events in Pune, Bengaluru and Indore during her India tour.
