Federer beats Nadal to win ATP World Tour Finals

London, Nov 29: World number two tennis player Roger Federer defeated top ranked Rafael Nadal to win the ATP World Tour Finals title on Sunday, Nov 28.

The four time ATP World Tour Finals champion Federer thrashed Nadal 6-3, 3-6, 6-1 in their 22nd meeting. Now, Nadal's wins over Faderer reduced to 14-8.

With ATP World Tour Finals title and Australian Open Federer finished this season in high class. Nadal finished the season with three Grand Slam titles winning French Open, Wimbledon and the US Open.

In the finals, which was attended by Argentinian football legend Deigo Maradona and Thiery Henry, Federer won an incredible 92 percent of the points played on his first serve and lost only 13 points on serve in the entire match.

"You played unbelievable all during the week. So well done for everything," Nadal said to Federer on court after the match.
