Fenesta Open National Tennis Championship 2023: Schedule, Fixtures, Prize Money

The 28th Fenesta Open National Tennis Championship will take place at the DLTA Complex, New Delhi, running from October 2nd to 14th.

Operating under the joint auspices of the All India Tennis Association and the Delhi Lawn Tennis Association, DCM Shriram Ltd., a prominent business corporation, is set to host India's biggest domestic tennis competition. It will feature a diverse range of energetic and promising talent, hailing from all over the nation, who will go head-to-head for the much-coveted titles.

Fenesta Open National Tennis Championship 2023

The Fenesta Open National Tennis Championship holds the distinction of being the only single, full group, national championship that hosts various categories. This includes Men's and Women's divisions, as well as U-18, U-16, and U-14 events for both sexes.

Ajay S Shriram, Chairman & Sr Managing Director of DCM Shriram Ltd., expressed his excitement about the 28th edition of the championship. Shriram emphasised the company's dedication toward furthering the development of Indian tennis and creating opportunities for local talent through this tournament. He mentioned that numerous participants have forged successful careers from this platform, and last year's tournament saw over 1000 entrants, reflecting the growing reputation of the competition. He extended his best wishes to all competitors and encouraged them to leverage this occasion to display their capabilities.

The tournament's first week will showcase Single & Double events for Men, Women, and U-18s. The qualifying rounds are slated for September 30 and October 1, with the main draw set to occur between October 2 and 7.

DCM Shriram Ltd. has been instrumental in the progression of Indian tennis since debuting in the domain in 1992 with the Open Tennis Championship of Delhi. The corporation uses the Fenesta Open National Tennis Championship as a platform to uplift emerging talent by providing a chance to compete. Over the years, the tournament has attracted some of India's most prominent tennis players, including Rohan Bopanna, Somdev Devvarman, Yuki Bhambri, Sania Mirza, and Rutuja Bhosale, among others.

Prize Money

The champions will not only receive esteemed titles but also substantial prize money, with a total pool exceeding INR 21.5 lakh. Additional incentives include a kit allowance in the junior category.
