The 127th edition of the French Open, a Grand Slam tennis tournament to be played on clay courts, is all set to start at the Stade Roland Garros in Paris, France from Sunday (May 28) to June 11.

The second grand slam of the year will see players across the globe compete in men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles and mixed double categories. Apart from that, there will be competition for wheelchair, boys, girls and legends.

For the first time since he made his debut at the event, the record champion and the defending champ Rafael Nadal will miss the tournament due to injury issues, but the likes of Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz will battle in the men's singles category.
