India's Rohan Bopanna and his Australian partner Matthew Ebden will take on an Indo-Mexican pair Sriram Balaji and Miguel Martinez in the French Open 2024 men's doubles pre-quarterfinals on Monday (June 3).
The second seeded Indo-Australian pair, who won the Australian Open doubles title earlier this year, overcame fighting Brazilians Orlando Luz and Marcelo Zormann in a testing three-set opening round before receiving a walkover from their second round opponents to reach the third round.

The Brazilians made life tough for the Indo-Australian duo who scraped through 7-5, 4-6, 6-4 in two hours and seven minutes. The duo then received a walkover from Sebastian Baez and Thiago Seyboth Wild.
The Indo-Mexican duo of N. Sriram Balaji and Miguel Angel Reyes-Varela Martinez, on the other hand, moved into the third round after beating wildcard entrants Theo Arribage and Dan Added in the second round. The Balaji-Martinez won by a scoreline of 6-4, 3-6, 6-2.
Balaji and Martinez had earlier overcome American Reese Stalder and Dutch player Sem Verbeek with a scoreline of 6-3, 6-4. The two pairs will meet for the first time in any event.
