French Open 2026 Men's Quarterfinals: Full Draw, Matchups and Road to the Final
The men's draw at Roland Garros has opened up dramatically after the exits of top names like Novak Djokovic and Casper Ruud, setting up a quarterfinal lineup packed with rising stars and first-time contenders.

French Open: Confirmed Men's Quarterfinals
Alexander Zverev vs Rafael Jodar
Zverev reached the last eight after a straight-sets win over Jesper de Jong, while 19-year-old Jodar produced one of the comebacks of the tournament by recovering from two sets down against Pablo Carreno Busta.
Jodar is playing his first-ever Grand Slam quarterfinal and has quickly become one of the breakout stars of the tournament.
Joao Fonseca vs Jakub Mensik
This is the battle of the next generation.
Fonseca followed up his huge upset over Djokovic by defeating Ruud in four sets to become the first Brazilian man since Gustavo Kuerten in 2004 to reach the French Open quarterfinals.
Mensik booked his place after surviving a five-set battle against Andrey Rublev and became the youngest Czech man to reach a Grand Slam quarterfinal since Ivan Lendl in 1980.

The winners of those two matches will meet in the semifinals, guaranteeing at least one first-time Grand Slam finalist from this section of the draw.
Why this draw is so unique
The 2026 French Open has turned into one of the most unpredictable Grand Slams in recent years.
Two teenagers - Jodar and Fonseca - are in the quarterfinals, while Mensik has also reached his maiden Slam last eight. Meanwhile, Zverev is now the most experienced title contender left in this section of the draw.
With several established contenders already eliminated, Roland Garros is now guaranteed to feature at least one major breakthrough story before the tournament ends.
