French Open: Sharapova here to stay, in last 32

Paris, May 28: Still wearing a bandage on her shoulder, Maria Sharapova advanced in the French Open to reach the last 32 on Wednesday, May 27 with a marathon 6-2, 1-6, 8-6 win over Russian compatriot Nadia Petrova.

Sharapova pulled this victory after falling the the Warsaw Open which seemed like the Grand Slam Title winner's end. However, seems like she is not done surprising the world with her comebacks.

Sharapova played on the same court last year as the No 1 but her ranking has now slumped to 102. But after dishing out this victory that she sealed with a kiss it looks like Sharapova is here to stay
