French Open: Soderling, Gonzalez march into semis

Paris, Jun 3: After beating Rapheal Nadal out of his four year winning streak, Robin Soderling marched into the semi finals on Tuesday, Jun 2 after beating Russian 10th seed Nikolay Davydenko 6-1, 6-3, 6-1.

23rd seeded Soderling will now play against Chile's Fernando Gonzalez on Friday, Jun 5. Gonzalez ousted Andy Murray 6-3, 3-6, 6-0, 6-4 in the quarter finals.

Soderling who has for the first time made it past the third round said, "I don't want to be too happy, because I have another match coming up."

With their brilliant performance, Robin Soderling and Fernando Gonzalez have now staked claim in being the potential Grand Slam winners at the French Open
