From Leander Paes To Rohan Bopanna- List Of Indians To Win Australian Open

The Australian Open is presently underway and one of the four Grand Slam tennis tournaments and is held annually in Melbourne, Australia.

It was first established in 1905 and is played on hard courts at Melbourne Park, with the matches often taking place under the iconic retractable roofs.

Indians At Australian Open 2025

At the Australian Open 2025, India's top singles player, Sumit Nagal, ranked No. 96 in the ATP rankings, will be the only Indian competing in the men's singles event. He will begin his campaign in the main draw and face 26th seed Tomas Machac from Czechia in his opening match.

In doubles, Rohan Bopanna, fresh off his victory at the 2024 Australian Open men's doubles with Australia's Matthew Ebden, will pair up with Nicolas Barrientos of Colombia for the 2025 edition. Matthew Ebden will team with Joran Vliegen of Belgium in the doubles event.

Yuki Bhambri will partner with French player Albano Olivetti in the men's doubles. Additionally, N Sriram Balaji and Rithvik Bollipalli will also be representing India in the doubles competition.
