Game over for Bhupathi-Knowles in Hamburg Masters tourney

New Delhi, May 14 (UNI) India's Mahesh Bhupathi and his partner Mark Knowles of Bahamas suffered a straight sets defeat in the second round to bow out of the doubles event in the Hamburg Masters tennis tournament in Germany.

The fourth seeded Bhupathi-Knowles pair, were surprised 2-6, 3-6 by the unseeded American pair of James Blake and Mardy Fish yesterday.

Another Indian in the tournament, Leander Paes and his new partner Tommy Robredo of Spain, who defeated Czech-Russian duo of Tomas Berdych and Dmitry Tursunov in the first round, will take on third seed Israeli pair of Jonathan Erlich and Andy Ram in the pre-quarterfinals.
