Bangalore, Oct 30: Children's rights activist and Nobel Peace winner Malala Yousafzai has received the World's Children's Prize 2014 - a global vote involving millions of children.

Malala even donated $50,000 to help rebuild the destroyed UN schools in Gaza. While collecting the World's Children's Prize, Yousafzai said that she would give away the prize money toward the cause.

Meanwhile, professional tennis player Caroline Wozniacki will run the New York City marathon to raise funds for the New York Road Runners Team for Kids charity, which promotes youth running.
