South Carlolina, December 5: American John Isner married long-time girlfriend Madison McKinley in a country themed wedding in South Carolina.

Many past and present ATP players including Sam Querrey, James Blake, Steve Johnson and Alex Kuznetsov graced the occasion.

Isner proposed to McKinley, a jewelry designer, in six months back before deciding to tie the nuptial knot at Montage palmetto Bluff.

The American himself posted picture on his Instagram account.

It may be a short honeymoon though for the world No.17 as the new season begins in four week's time.

He is scheduled to kick-off his campaign at the ASB Classic in New Zealand - an event that he has won twice in his career (2010 and 2014).

The 32-year-old had a decent 2017 by his standards, winning two titles (Newport and Atlanta).

In tennis circles, Isner is well remembered for his marathon match at the 2010 Wimbledon Championships.

Ranked 23rd then, Isner faced qualifier Nicolas Mahut in the first round.

Overall, the match, which was played over two days, lasted eleven hours and five minutes. Isner also set the record for most games won in a Wimbledon match with 92.

Isner won the match 6-4, 3-6, 6-7, 7-6, 70-68. The final set alone was longer than the previous longest match.

In the match, Isner also set the record for most aces in a match, breaking Ivo Karlović's record of 78.
