Mumbai, Oct 17: Tennis player Leander Paes on Friday alleged that there was a threat to his life from cricketer Atul Sharma.

Paes lodged a complaint with the Bandra Kurla Complex police stating that his life was in danger and that he had received threats from Sharma. Atul Sharma is a cricketer from Varanasi, who also plays for Rajasthan Royals in the IPL.

According to Paes, Sharma had threatened to kill him and his daughter inside the Bandra court premises. Paes informed the police that he had produced some papers before the court which proved that his former wife Rhea Pillai was in a relationship with Atul Sharma.

Following this the cricketer got angry and threatened Paes.
