London: World Number 1 Rafael Nadal reclaimed the Wimbeldon men's singles title on Sunday beating Tomas Berdych 6-3, 7-5, 6-4 in the final.
The Spaniard in the process secured his eighth overall Grand Slam title, Nadal went level with Andre Agassi, Jimmy Connors, Ivan Lendl, Fred Perry and Ken Rosewall.
This win was Nadal's second title in the grass court, his previous victory was in the year 2008 when he beat Roger Federer in a five-set, almost five-hour final that was universally as regarded one of the finest match.
Berdych coming into the finals for the first time was rather an easy opponent for the Spaniard as he ousted him in straight sets, 6-3, 7-5, 6-4.
