Paes-Damm seeded 5th, Bhupathi partners Stepanek

Melbourne, Jan 16 (UNI) Reigning US Open champion Leander Paes and his Czech teammate Martin Damm have been seeded fifth, while Mahesh Bhupathi teams up with another Czech, Radek Stepanek, in the men's doubles event of the ongoing Australian Open.

The fifth seeded Paes-Damm pair would kick off their campaign with an opening round tie with the Serbian duo of Novak Djokovic and Janko Tipsarevic.

On the other hand, Bhupathi and Stepanek -- latter's recent claim to fame being his engagement with Swiss Miss Martina Hingis -- meet the French pair of Sebastien Grosjean and Olivier Patience in the first round.
