Paes-Dlouhy, Bhupathi-Knowles crashed out from Paris Masters

Paris, Oct 30 (UNI) Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupathi challenge came to an end as they suffered a second round defeats with their respective partners in the 2,270,000 euro Paris Masters here.

The third seed Paes-Dlouhy pair lost to their Brazilian opponents Marcelo Melo and Andre Spa in straight sets 3-6 2-6 in a contest which has lasted more than a hour.

The Indo-Czech pair squandered two breakpoints each in both the sets while their rivals broke them thrice in the match.

The fourth seeded pair of Bhupathi and his Bahamian partner Mark Knowles lost their second round match 4-6 2-6 to Rafael Nadal of Spain and Juan Monaco.
