Paes-Dlouhy go down in Shanghai opener

Shanghai , Nov 10 (UNI) India's Leander Paes and his partner Lukas Dlouhy of Czech Republic lost their first round-robin match at the Tennis Masters Cup here today.

The Indo-Czech pair was defeated by Jonas Bjorkman and Kevin Ullyett of Zimbabwe in staright sets 6-3, 7-5 in an hour and 20 minutes.

The fourth seeded Zimbabwian pair converted both the break points and clinched the Gold Group match to outpoint their sixth seeded Indo-Czech pair who have to play two more group matches.
