Sports: Paes enters mixed doubles pre QF

London, July 6 : Leander Paes and Meghann Shaughnessy of USA notched up an easy 6-0, 6-0 victory over Jaroslav Levinsky and Renata Voracova of Czecch Replubic to sail into Wimbledon mixed doubles pre-quaterfinals here.

The Indo-US duo will now meet 12th seeded Todd Perry of Australia and Chia-Jung Chuang of Chinese Taipei for a place in last eight.

Eighth seeded Paes and Shaughnessy took just 35 minutes to demolish their unseeded opponents.

After Sania Mirza and Mahesh Bhupathi's exit from the prestigious Grand Slam event, Paes remains the only Indian in the fray. He has also booked a quarter-final berth in men's doubles.

Seeded fifth, he and Martin Damm of Czech Republic will take on fourth seeded Fabrice Santoro (France) and Nenad Zimonjic (Serbia) for a place in the last four in men's doubles.
