New Delhi, Oct 21: India's Prakash Amritraj made it to the singles pre-quarterfinals ATP Challenger event in Calabasas, United States after his opponent Llija Bojoljac dropped out of the match.
Prakash who got a wild card entry was leading 6-3 3-2 when his Serbian rival opted out of the match, making way for the Indian to advance further in the 50,000 dollar US challenger.
To earn a place in the quarterfinals, Prakash has to defeat third seed Jesse Levine.
In the doubles tournament, Prakash and his American partner Alex Kuznetsov have already won a spot in the quarterfinals, while another Indian Harsh Mankad teamed with Philippines' Treat Conard Huey are also battling in the tournament.
