Indore, Sep 30: Khargone's Indrakumar Mahajan and Gwalior's Shiny Raizada have won the men's and women's singles titles in the 1st Madhya Pradesh State-level S P Nagar Memorial Ranking Tennis Tournament at the Indore Tennis Club.

Raizada beat local lady Swati Bhargav 6-1, 7-5 while Mahajan overcame city-resident Avneet Gill 6-2, 6-0. In the men's doubles, Mahajan and Yunus Khan made Arjun Dhupar and Sajid Lodhi bite the dust 6-0, 6-3.

Local lad Madhav Patidar took the under-18 crown by getting the better of city-resident Kaishav Patidar 6-3, 6-2 while the Military Headquarters Of War's Nikhlesh Kanaujiya did likewise in the under-14 category by defeating Indore's Vishi Porwal 6-3, 6-3.

Collector Vivek Agrawal, who was the valedictory programme's chief guest, awarded prizes yesterday.
