Sanaa Bhambri clinches ITF women's tournament

Gurgaon, Jun 21 (UNI) Third seed Sanaa Bhambri brushed aside seventh seed Sung-Hee Han of Korea in straight sets to win the singles title of the ITF Women's tennis tournament here today.

Sanaa, who was given a good challenge in the first set but showed some great skills and eventually nailed down her Korean counterpart 7-5, 6-1 to win the summit clash and take home a sum of 10,000 dollars.

Throughout the tournament, Sanaa was in an outstanding form as she was not troubled much and the only fright that came her way was from eighth seed Parija Maloo whom she beat 7-5 3-6 6-2 yesterday.
