Sania ends campaign in semis in Pattaya

Pattaya, Thailand, Feb 10 (UNI) Sania Mirza went down 4-6, 5-7 to Gisela Dulko of Argentina in the semi-final of the 170,000 dollar Pattaya Open tennis tournament here today.

The fifth seeded Indian yet again failed to raise her game in crunch situations and was not in her elements today against the Argentine, seeded one place below her in the Tier IV event.

Sania, who would be the star attraction in the Sony Ericsson International in Bangalore beginning on Monday, has not featured in any singles final after wiinning her only WTA event in Hyderabad in February 2005.
